The Life & Teachings of Jesus
20 lessons that begin with, "The Boy in the Temple, and end with, "Pentecost." It also covers some of the Parables and Miracles. This curriculum focuses on a metaphysical interpretation of these events and continues where, "Learning About Myself Through the Old Testament," leaves off.
Unity's 5 Basic Principles
This is a 5 month rotation model that honors the Multiple Intelligence found within every person. Each week the classrooms are changed in creative, media-inspired, kid pleasing workshops that teach Unity Principle through Bible stories and the Living Curriculum. The workshops include: art, drama, audiovisuals, Bible games, music & movement, puppets and cooking. The 5 months are divided into one-month "rotation periods" in which one Unity Principle will be studied using the same or similar Bible stories. The information is presented through four different workshops. This allows the class to absorb the information and by presenting the material in a variety of methods honors our Multiple Learning Styles. This curriculum readily adapts to a multi-aged classroom.
Lumindorf
13 lessons that were inspired by the Harry Potter series of books. The books talk about magic, potions, spells and good and evil. A closer look reveals that Harry's journey is amazingly similar to our own Spiritual journey. I have taken certain experiences that Harry goes through and given them a Unity interpretation. As we look beyond the appearance in these events we are able to apply the learning and gifts to our own lives
The Journey to OZ
A 12 week curriculum based on the "Wizard of Oz." The purpose is to introduce and substantiate the TRUTH secret that all we ever need to succeed in life is right within us. Through the Christ Spirit within, the real Wizard, we can do all things. This is the only place we need to look.
Jungle Safari
This is a 4 week Bible based curriculum based on exploring how we can find God within everything, everybody and within every experience. This curriculum uses a Vacation Bible School format which has the children rotating through a variety of experiences for the hour.
In the Forest of Finding Out
24 lessons that were inspired by the topics in the book, "The Simple Truth." This curriculum is an exploration of metaphysics and it uses Bible for most of its lessons. A sampling of the topics explored include: What is God, Prayer & Meditation, Where is Heaven?, Denials & Affirmations, Faith, etc... |
